Job Description
Bordelon Marine is hiring a vessel cook for its offshore vessels. The cook plans menus; prepares and serves meals and snacks for the crew and authorized personnel; orders, receives and stores provisions; manages galley inventory and records; keeps the galley, mess, storage areas and equipment clean and at safe temperatures; handles waste per environmental rules; accommodates dietary needs where feasible; and reports equipment problems or shortages to the Master. As part of the vessel crew, the cook also takes part in safety meetings, drills and emergency response, helps orient new personnel, and has Stop Work Authority.
