Job Details Description Responsibilities Conduct pre-job inspections of deck and equipment to ensure safety Perform routine maintenance on equipment, cranes, and other machinery Supervise the process of drafting barges Lead and assist the deck crew during transloading operations Operate winches and maintain lubrication schedule and records Uphold proper housekeeping standards and clean excess oil/grease from equipment and work area Report all incidents through the company’s reporting protocol Complete daily inspection reports and forward to maintenance personnel as required Support company safety initiatives and demonstrate knowledge of all required competencies Qualifications Proficiency in English with basic math and computer skills Leadership skills Ability to follow directions and work rotational shift work Experience in lubricating, performing routine maintenance/ minor repairs, and operating assigned equipment Physical fitness to perform all essential physical demands of this job safely Team player with a commitment to customer service Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and comply with all operational directives and company policies Benefits Competitive benefits package, including paid holidays and vacation Training provided All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including boots and uniforms provided Work/Life Balance Work Schedule Strong 401K Plan Company Sponsored Life Insurance Qualifications Licenses & Certifications Required TWIC Card
